Logo design process



This was a quick logo design from customer artwork. They already had a clear idea of what they wanted. The most important thing for me was to achieve a balance with the kerning each side of the central T. The .com helps with this but I decided to use the irregular Burbank which compliments the movement of the spokes and helps hold it all together nicely.


I wasn't keen on the requested use of black and much prefer the proposed use of the strong blue which emphasises the connection between movement and commuter travel giving a nod to the iconic tube device.


Whilst we are on quick logo design, here is another done this week. Sometimes you have to think quick and are not allowed time to develop owing to customer deadlines!, again much less that one hour from start to finish:
