Old Crown Sign
Today I designed a new sign for a pub in Highgate. It's nice and sunny in London so I'm off to find a beer : )

Festival identity design
I have been working on an identity for a small festival in North London. Firstly I had to create a logo for the umbrella group - and then I began working on an identity for the festival. This is work in progress....

London old shop sign
This sign was recently uncovered at the site of an old Tyre Garage on Archway Road near Highgate. It's not the best picture, but I struggled to grab my iphone as the bus passed. Another lovely example of what remains hidden beneath the modern shop fascias around London. Similar to E Mono in Kentish Town (which has thankfully been preserved in place) - I hope this isn't lost again!
I live up the road so I will post any updates.
*Update* Went past on my bike Vespa today..it's been boarded over : (

Vintage German Phrase Book cover
Off to Berlin in a couple of weeks so thought I'd brush up on my German.
I got this for free at a car boot sale in Brighton Marina.
Many people have been using parcel tags in their designs recently...this goes to show that it is nothing new - Love the little illustrations!

Kettle Logo Design
Here is a logo I have been working on. It is for a new design of kettle that has added safety features and thermo retaining properties.
If you boil the kettle in the morning, it will still be hot enough for another cuppa at lunch time!
I chose to denote this by using a glowing orange on the inside of the 'c' on the kettle device.
The emphasis can also remain on the name "Crispin' as we have the kettle device in conjunction with the text 'kettle'
Client prefers the colouring of the two outer designs.

Photoshop Bubble Pattern
Today I finally found a use for the visible default pattern overlay layer style in Photoshop. (The bubbles)
I did have my doubts as to whether or not this day would ever arrive, but as sure as the rain in English summer it did!
